Here’s the second piece of my blog post about the pageant. First was The Photoshoot, and now here comes The Rehearsals.
This practice was supposed to be done earlier than the 5th of December, but was delayed for some reasons. So anyway, here it goes.
That 5th of the 12th month this year, a Monday, I, together with the other candidates proceeded to Fiamma (Fiama?) for the dry-run of the pageant and its production number.

There was no stage, so we had use what seemed to be like the only platform where one could possibly perform (if such act can be accommodated) - the stairs.
We were 8 all in all. 2 contenders for Ms. Superstar, and 3 each on Mr. and Ms. Total Net.

I loved this flight of stairs they had. It’s soo sneaky. I used this to alight for our team presentation. But more on that on the pageant proper’s post.

This is us, practicing the dance moves, Jerome, our host taught us. He’s that one in blue. And if you’re wondering where I am, I am that small girl half-concealed half-not in front of Jerome. :)

I am wearing my Slytherin shirt. :) Hoping that it would somehow give me the sly and sleek feeling considering that the pageant is that following weekend. You don’t have any idea, how I wished the pageant finished as soon as it’s able.
They said we should wear something comfortable as we will be dancing that day. I opted to wear a shirt, a pedal and my trusty Melissa rubber flats. :)

There I am, making friends with Anna and Men from the Internal Writers Department. They are really nice. :) I can’t wait to share the office with them once their department transfers in our building next year!

When it got late, the Fiamma people turned on their yellow lights. Now it looks more bar-ry. :)

That’s me, concentrating on going down the staircase without obviously looking at my feet or the steps, or perhaps thinking and hoping not to fall flat on my face. :)

This is the spot or the moment where I have to say: Vanessa Galang, 22, Marketing! OMG! I was worried and kept repeating this in to mind, as I was dead scared to mix them all up! I know, they are just three teeny weeny details, but hey, this is really the first REAL pageant I’ve had!

Me, striking a not so glamorous post! Haha :D I was hoping to give more energy on the day itself. I don’t want to be sooo bibo at practice!
I would like to thank Ninay and Karen for being oh-so-sweet in accompanying me in this dry-run, for taking these shots, and for being so willing to give advice and suggestions! I kept those in mind and I hope it showed in the final night!
So there. I’ll be posting the 3rd part soon. Still have lots of things to do! Have a great weekend! :D
